From this year onwards all new NK buildings will be able to support a Category 4 snowfall

The climate is constantly changing, and as snowfall hits record volumes the map of Russia’s snowiest regions is being reshaped. For an industrial building to remain highly marketable in these conditions, it needs to factor in an extra strength margin. This is why NK Group has begun the design and construction of facilities able to withstand a snow load of 280 kg / m2, which corresponds to a Category 4 snowfall. For this purpose the buildings have been reinforced through increasing the metal content in their trusses and the sectional size of the columns.
